To Bethany's Cancer Page! Hi! Welcome....come on in! We're still trying to fix the place up, but make your self comfortable and take a look around. You'll find a lot of helpful (hopefully) information and resources. Our daughter, Bethany, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in October 1998. It's been a battle and we've still got a long way to go. One of the biggest problems we've had is locating services and information available to us. Our social worker has been a tremendous help, but there's only so much she can do. So we've taken off and done a LOT of research on our own, and this is our way of sharing what we've found with you. Hopefully you'll find at least one thing that will make your own journey a little easier.
Oh, here's Bethany. This picture was taken
in November. I've tried to organize the information on these pages. There are links to organizations, research sites, general information and personal pages. Some of the personal pages are the best sources of information, since it all comes from families who have been through the same things we're dealing with. Let me know if you have any suggestions for websites to add. I'm also working on a list of tips to help parents and kids deal with life in the hospital, so if you've got anything you'd like to add feel free to e-mail me with those, too!
Any questions or comments? E-mail me at [email protected]! This site best viewed at 800x600 screen resolution. Many thanks to Kris for the graphics...
